This is a common question our customers often ask us. The answer is, it depends. You should never 'pressure wash' concrete that is less than 3 years old as it has not had enough time to fully cure. If you use high pressure on new concrete it can cause permanent damage.
If the concrete is older than 3 years old then it should be safe to pressure wash as long as you stay under 2,000 PSI. The PSI can be adjusted by the tip size used.
Generally, we at Elite Exterior Cleaning & Maintenance Co. recommend pressure washing concrete once every 3-4 years. If you routinely soft wash your concrete you can keep it cleaner and brighter for much longer without the risk of causing premature damage from pressure washing.
